South Asian Journal of Food Technology and Environment (ISSN 2394-5168) publishes original research & review papers dealing with all aspects of Food Science, Food Technology, Food preservation, Food Engineering, Food packaging and storage, Food and Nutrition, Food chemistry, Food microbiology, Food safety, Quality assurance, Agricultural process and Post harvest technology, Food Biotechnology, Environmental Sciences and ecology (including Agricultural and Engineering Sciences) – in English language only. Journal is published quarterly with four issues in a year – Jan, April, July and Oct.
The Journal publishes only unpublished Research Papers (not exceeding 4500 words), Short Communications (not exceeding 1500 words) and Review Papers (not exceeding 6500 words).
Manuscript Preparation: Manuscript should be computer typed in double spacing on one side of A4 size white paper, leaving wide margin on both sides. Use standard symbols of Units conforming to the International System of Units (SI). Tables should be typed in Microsoft-Word Table format on separate pages, and should be numbered using Arabic numerals.
Page 1 of the paper should contain the following:
Page 2 should contain the Title of the paper, followed by the Abstract (about 200 words), 4-5 Key words and Text proper.
Abstract should be in single paragraph and should indicate significant findings with data/ data range, and conclusions.
Key words should adequately index the subject matter and should not be more than 6 key words. They should be arranged in alphabetical order.
Text proper should be subdivided into sections:
Introduction should precisely include the aims of the study. It should be concise and specific with no sub-headings. Reviewing of literature should be added in brief.
Materials and Methods should be sufficiently detailed to enable the experiments to be reproduced. The techniques and methodology adopted should be supported with standard references.
Results and Discussion should be combined. Results may be split into sub-headings (without numbering). Data emerging out from the study should be included, arranged in a unified and coherent sequence, and statistically analyzed with significance. The same data should not be presented both in Tabular and Graphic forms.
Conclusion should be in concise form and final recommendation of the research work.
Acknowledgment should include the names of those who contributed substantially to the work described in the manuscript but do not fulfill the requirements for the authorship.
References should be cited in the Text by surname of the author(s) and the year e.g. Marcello (1997); Hung and Zayas (1991). In case of more than two authors, surname of the first author followed by et al., and the year should be cited in the text e.g. Fustier et al., (2009). If two or more papers were published by the same author in one year, distinction of these should be made by adding a, b or c — e.g. Chandra (2010 a, b). In the list of references (Reference section) at the end of the paper, full and complete references should be given in the following style and punctuation, arranged alphabetically by first author’s surname. When papers originally published in languages other than English (e.g. Chinese, Turkish, Japanese, Spanish…..) are cited in the text, their references in the Reference section should be translated into English language, along with the original language. While giving the names of the periodicals, standard abbreviations listed in the International Serials Catalogue, published by International Council of Scientific Unions Abstracting Board (ICSUAB) should be used. Even if a reference contains more than two authors, the names of all the authors should be given. Example

Acknowledgment of the manuscripts will be sent to the Corresponding Author and the Manuscript Registration Number will be assigned. After Revised Manuscript is subjected to compliance check of reviewers’ reports and final re-check by editors before releasing the acceptance letter.
Fees and Payments: All authors of papers should be annual member @ Rs. 1000 (per year) of journal.Membership fee must be paid in the form of cash/demand draft in favour of “Society for World Environment, Food and Technology” and payable at Meerut. Corresponding author will entitle to receive print version as well PDF of the journal with published paper. All members must be submitted membership form along with payment (if needed). Journal also invited life member ship from the authors and if registered as life member and received a life membership certificate and other benefits, if applicable.
Copy right / Article certificate: Copyright/article certificate of all the papers published in South Asian Journal of Food Technology and Environment, Meerut (UP), India. Authors must be submitted duly filled scanned copy of articles certificate along manuscript. Without article certificate, manuscript cannot consider.
Jurisdiction: The jurisdiction for all the disputes of journal concerning submitted articles, advertisement and memberships etc. will be Tribunal court in Meerut, UP (India).
